Dr. Charles Brownlow has always emphasized his desire to run a procedure based pain management practice. Instead of prescribing medication, we offer numerous diagnostic tests and minimally- invasive spine procedures to treat pain. In an effort to promote this, we have changed our name to Georgia Pain and Spine Care, Inc.

We are also excited to bring Ruben G. Koshy, MD on board to assist Dr. Brownlow with our growing patient population. Dr. Koshy received his medical degree in 2005 from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology followed by a Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of Illinois. He is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Koshy joined our practice in January of 2011.

Georgia Pain and Spine Care is a procedure based, full-time pain management clinic providing care for patients in Coweta/Fayette Counties and the surrounding area. At Georgia Pain and Spine Care, our chief focus is to get every patient back to their desired life style and level of activity and to control their pain and suffering. Our physicians achieve this with a multi-disciplinary approach offering:

  • Specialized pain management procedures
  • Targeted physical therapy
  • Behavior modification
  • Counseling and education
  • Carefully planned medication management
  • Direction of care regarding other medical services

We believe in an active, progressive approach to pain management offering numerous pain management procedures. We have proven that patients do not necessarily have to rely on pain medication or invasive surgery to combat their chronic pain. Our goals are to:

  • Treat the source of pain
  • Promote healthy activities and preventative care
  • Return patients to the most functional and productive lifestyle possible
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary approaches
  • Provide cost effective care and minimize reliance on health care resources
