Dan Kirschenbaum, Ph.D., ABPP, is our Director of Behavioral Health. Dr. Kirschenbaum uses cognitive behavior therapy
(CBT) to help people: manage pain more effectively (e.g., progressive muscle relaxation; hypnosis), sleep better, lose weight, and decrease stress and depression. He is also a Professor of Psychiatry
& Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University and a former President of the American Psychological Association’s Division of Exercise and Sport Psychology.
Dr. Kirschenbaum, the author of 12 books and 140 articles in scientific journals, has provided invited addresses at
professional conferences world-wide, received numerous research grants, and consulted with many organizations (e.g., NBA; US Olympic Committee; LPGA; WebMD).
